Beating the Heat.

According to our home weather station, it is currently 95degrees outside. WOWZA. Toooooo hot for the little ones and too hot for me! We've already prayed twice today for daddy and all the other folks who have to work in this dreaded  heat!

So....what to do all day indoors? Get the creative juices flowing! Pull out the glue sticks, the safety scissors, the stickers, and crayons!

Today, I decided to borrow from our Sunday School lesson "God Makes Things Grow" and make a bigger version of our craft from last Sunday. Currently, the boys are learning to use scissors (safety ones of course!), so they had a blast cutting pictures out of magazines. Next, glue sticks! And we topped off our project with stickers.  The boys were quite pleased with themselves!
